Violence and Harassment in Platform Work Unofficial title
Persons performing platform work are exposed, in particular in on-location platform work, to a risk of violence and harassment, without having a physical workplace where they are able to address complaints. Harassment and sexual harassment are liable to have a negative impact on the health and safety of platform workers. Member States should therefore provide for preventive measures, including the setting up of effective reporting channels. Member States are also encouraged to support effective measures to combat violence and harassment in platform work and, in particular, include appropriate reporting channels for persons performing platform work who do not have an employment relationship.
